The benefit in that is we can reuse commonly used features by simply dragging and dropping them onto our part.
We will notice the file format becomes .sldlfp and there is an “L” next to the feature that will be acting as the library feature part.
Furthermore, in our FeatureManager Design Tree, there will be a new folder named “Dimensions”
In that, there are two sub folders; Locating Dimensions and Internal Dimensions.
Locating Dimensions can be modified when placing the library feature part onto another part.
Whereas Internal Dimensions cannot be modified. It is useful in situations where the company follows certain standards and wants to limit the change of these dimensions by users.
