Advanced Part Modelling Training

Dates : 1st, 2nd, 8th February 2017(session 1,2&3)

Prerequisites : SOLIDWORKS Essentials

 

Advanced Part Modelling builds on your existing knowledge of Solidworks from Essentials course; giving you more in-depth knowledge of Solidworks design tools such as, Multibody design techniques, Sketching with Splines, 3D sketching, using Advanced Sweeps and Lofts.

 

Solidworks Essentials

Dates : 17th and 18th January 2017 (Session 1 and 2)
24th and 25st January 2017 (Session 3 and 4)

Timings : 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Lunch is provided)

Duration : 4 Days

 

This four days full course is recommended for all beginners of Solidworks. It teaches you the fundamental skills required in order to advance into more specific topics (such as weldments, advanced part modelling, mold design, surfacing, etc.).

Some of the topics that will be covered in Essentials training include: Sketching, Basic Part Modelling and Assemblies, Modelling a Casting/Forging, Patterning, Revolved Features, Shelling and Ribs, Configurations of Parts, Design Tables and Equations, Making Engineering Drawings for Parts and Assemblies.

 

Sheet Metal/Weldments Training Course

Suited towards intermediate users of Solidworks, recommended pathway after the completion of Essentials course.


Sheet Metal

Dates : 28 Febraury

Timings : 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Lunch is provided)

Duration : 1 Day

Solidworks gives you the tools to design and document complex sheet metal enclosures with ease. In this training course, you’ll be taught how you can build sheet metal parts focusing on the fundamental skills and concepts which includes:
Basic Flange Features, Working with the Flat Pattern, Sheet Metal Techniques, Converting to Sheet Metal, Multibody Sheet Metal Parts, Forming Tools and Gussets

Weldments

Dates : 31st January

Timings : 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Lunch is provided)

Duration : 1 Day

 

This course covers the weldments function of Solidworks, teaching you how to create welded structures with standard structural members. After the completion of this course you will easily be able to

-Work with Weldment Features/Cut List
-Configure and Detailing Weldments
-Work with Bent Structural Members

 

Solidworks Simulation

Dates : 8th, 9th, 16th March 2017

Timings :9am to 5pm (Lunch will be provided)

Duration : 3 Days

 

This course is designed to make Solidworks users productive more quickly with the Solidworks Simulation Bundle. This course will provide an in-depth coverage on the basics of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), covering the entire analysis process from meshing to evaluation of results for parts and assemblies. The class discusses linear stress analysis, gap/contact analysis, and best practices.

 

Prerequisites: Knowledge of Solidworks and basic mechanical engineering concepts is recommended.

 

Who should attend: All Solidworks Simulation users wishing to create better designs in Solidworks by performing analysis and evaluating the behavior of their parts and assemblies under actual service conditions.

 

Assembly Modelling

Dates : 22nd, 23rd Febraury

Time : 9am – 5am (Lunch is provided)

Duration : 2 Days

Level : Intermediate

Prerequisites: Attended the Solidworks Essentials or equivalent level of knowledge, at least one month of experience using the software.

After the training you will be able to:
• Create assemblies using bottom-up and top-down design approaches
• Control and automate your assemblies with configurations
• Resolve assembly design problems
• Use sketches to layout the design of your assemblies
• Better manage large assemblies and save time
