Indent feature In SolidWorks

The indent feature in SolidWorks creates an offset pocket or protrusion feature on a target body that exactly matches the contour of a selected tool body, using thickness and clearance values to create the feature.

This tool requires a target body and a tool body.

One of which needs to be a solid body.

These bodies are also needed to be in contact with each other.

To use this tool, create two separate bodies that intersect.
